When he lands a prestigious internship at a stock brokerage firm, he and his son endure many hardships together, including living in shelters, in pursuit of their dream of a better life.

Bourafaye Christian School have some vacancies needing to be filled; a French teacher, primary teachers for key stage 1 & 2, secondary teachers in most subjects, a special needs teacher and general helpers for the dormitories. Look out for the new “Bistro” style coffee time on the front church patio after morning service. Why crowd into church to have your drink and chat when we have a Mediterranean patio and coffee tables out front? Well, not yet!! But we soon will have, Ruth Westlake and Rachel Goldsworthy need to buy plants and compost to liven up the front of the church so if you would like to make a donation “Pop it in the Plant Pot” in the foyer as you go out. Women of all ages are invited to a meal - no charge!! Friday 11th April, 7:30pm in the church. It will be a social evening to help us get to know each other better. The Dorcas group will be hosting this, please sign the yellow list in the foyer if you or a friend intend to come.

Ever wondered what’s the point of it all?

The Point is a new Youth event for 13-18 yr olds. It starts on Thursday March 13th from 7:30pm to 9pm at St. Christopher’s Church on Burleigh Road, just round the corner from Cranleigh.

Working together with St. Christopher’s Church, St. Saviour’s and Iford Baptist, it’ll be a great night of worship, teaching and creative ministry. Contact Toby at the office for more information.

We have planned a short Men’s Retreat on Sunday March 9th to take place at Holdenhurst Village Church just behind Castlepoint. We will meet there at 4.00pm and spend some time walking and praying together followed by Communion in the Church, finishing at around 6.30pm. Starting Wednesday 6^th February upstairs at Cranleigh. This new group will be meeting initially for a 12 week period looking at a series entitled “God is Closer than you Think”. Further details from Gary at the church office.
