From Bricks and Mortar to Flesh and Blood Conference

January 10th, 2011

We are again hosting a teaching conference next month and are glad to welcome author and speaker Anne Le Tissier who will be guiding us through a deeper understanding of God’s truth that we are a ‘Temple of the Holy Spirit’. This is a great opportunity to grow in your faith and understanding as the conference is  £10.00 to include lunch,  Saturday 12th February at Cranleigh, 10.00am-3.30pm, details and booking form are available in the foyer or contact the church office.

This seminar, based on 1 Corinthians 6:19, will revisit Old Testament descriptions of Temple construction and ministry; details which we might otherwise feel tempted to skim over whilst stiffling a surreptitious yawn! Principles that in fact can inspire, challenge and prepare us to be God’s living temple.

Soaking Session

January 10th, 2011

Last year saw the launch of soaking sessions at Cranleigh and they have been well attended by a wide variety of age groups from age 10 up to 70 plus – the younger ones tending to sprawl around on the floor while the more mature elements prefer a comfortable seat. We’ve been really happy to welcome a lot of visitors from other churches who have heard about our soaking sessions ‘on the grape vine’. Highlights for soakers have included: experiencing visions for the first time, receiving the gift of speaking in tongues, several people have seen angels in the room, one woman in permanent physical pain experienced totally pain-free periods of time while soaking. The last session of the year in particular was quite amazing with a really profound and tangible presence of God. Thanks to everyone involved.  Adele.

Come along at 7.30pm on the first and third Sundays of the month.
