Dorcas are hosting another outreach meal on Friday 12^th March at 7pm in the church, our speakers will be Alan and Barbara Johnson . Please be in prayer about who to invite and sign the yellow list in the foyer. Contact the office for further details and invitations.

Following the positive feedback we have had from the Soaking Service we held on Sunday Evening we have decided to give more opportunity for this ministry within the church. We will be holding further soaking times on the 1^st and 3^rd Sunday of the month at 7.30pm, come and rest in the presence of God, bring pillows and blankets to make yourselves more comfortable.

A “soaking” session is a sort of holy spa experience where you recline on the floor, listen to some super anointed worship music and encounter God in a rather smoochy* way.

It’s a time to relax and receive more of the Holy Spirit:

“If you then …know how to give good gifts to your children how much more will your Heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him.”

So grab whatever you need to get comfy** and come on down to enjoy an hour or so resting in His presence while the Holy Spirit does his Psalm 23 work – restoring your body, soul and spirit.

*yummy, restful, nice, good and, well, smoochy!

** I recommend a pillow/cushion and a blanket. Teddy bear, hot water bottle and bunk beds are optional.

P.S -  there will be chairs too for those who can’t get down on the floor easily.

We will be hosting the Women’s World day of Prayer on Friday 5th March, 2.00pm, here at Cranleigh Community Church.

You are invited to an evening in Malawi on Firday 12th February at 7.30pm here at Cranleigh Community Church. Dennis and Sheila Eaton will be giving a presenation on their experiences of life in Malawi and all that God is doing there. Everyone is welcome. There will an opportunity to donate into the work they are doing there. Refreshments of coffee and cake will be served. This evening will be hosted by the Dorcas Fellowship.

Come along to our evening of open prayer and worship, we meet from 6.30pm on the last Sunday of most months here at the church.

Jack’s sermon from Sunday December 6th, 2009.

Jack examines what the Bible tells us about ‘Blessings and Curses or Unblessings’. There are over 600 references to both and so they need our consideration. God is always about bringing us to a place of Blessing but there are many things that can hold back the goodness of God on our lives. This morning we look at both these places and choose to move out from under unblessing and into God’s favour and freedom once again.

This seminar is designed to equip and resource worship leaders and teams with the tools for maintaining and developing their gifting as worshippers.

Chris & Jennie Orange oversee worship in Ichthus Christian Fellowship. Their heart is to see the presence of God released over the church in London, the UK and abroad where they minister in worship leading and training worship teams.
