Conference: “Working From A Place Of Rest”

March 17th, 2010

Cranleigh Community Church warmly invites you to a seminar day hosted by Tony Horsfall

Saturday 10th April 10.30am to 3.30pm

“Working From A Place Of Rest - Jesus and the key to sustaining ministry”

This day, based on John 4, will look at the ministry style of Jesus as a pattern and model for our own. As we follow his example of interaction with the Samaritan woman, and then the villagers, we will see how it is possible to work both efficiently and effectively without burning ourselves out. This day will be of help to those in full-time ministry, as well as those who have to balance church involvement with the demands of home and work. Come and sit with Jesus by the well and watch him at work. Take some time out to reflect on how you are living and working. And maybe, just maybe, you gain some insights that will change your life and sustain your ministry over the long haul.

Tony Horsfall is an elder at Ackworth Community Church, and a freelance training consultant who specialises in a range of topics, such as cross cultural training, mentoring and in leading retreats. He has an ongoing teaching ministry in countries like Singapore and Malaysia.

Conferences at Cranleigh cost £15 each, including refreshments and lunch. Doors open at 10am for Registration. Please contact Elaine Emmons on07769736634 for details and bookings.
